How to prepare

To ensure there's no interruption to online banking, there are a few things you might like to check.

To help, we've created a quick checklist for you.

Know your Client Number & Password

When you log into the new mobile banking app for the first time you'll be asked to enter your Client Number and full Internet Banking Access Code, which is different from the PIN or Biometric login (e.g. Fingerprint or Face ID) which you've set for your app. Once you've logged in to the app with your Client Number and Access Code, you can then reset your app PIN, Pattern or other login method.

If you can't remember your Access Code, we suggest using the “Reset Access Code” function on the Internet Banking login screen before the new app is released.

Check you have automatic updates turned on

When your mobile device receives the new update (which may take some time), you will only be able to use the new app. If your mobile device has automatic updates turned, you should receive the update automatically with no interruption. However, if you have them turned off, you will need to update the app from Google Play or the App Store.

To save time and hassle, we suggest turning on automatic updates from your device Settings.
