Auswide Bank is committed to supporting our staff, customers, and communities by sponsoring suitable opportunities that are aligned to our Vision, Mission and Values.

Auswide Bank has been actively supporting community interests for over 57 years. Our community support and sponsorship investment aims to support grassroots organisations such as sporting clubs, community groups and charities that benefit the community in a positive and sustainable way.

How to apply

To assist in our review of your application, please complete the Community Support and Sponsorship Application form below. Applications may take up to six weeks to assess and review.

We aim to respond to all community support and sponsorship applications as soon as we can however if the application is urgent or under time constraint, please include this in the application form.

Auswide Bank is willing to consider all sponsorship and monetary requests, however, we are more likely to support applications that that align with the following criteria.

  • Provide long-term opportunities to partner with organisations that make a meaningful impact in the communities in which we operate.
  • Are aligned with our mission and values.
  • Are aligned with our purpose of helping people.
  • Provide mutually beneficial outcomes for both the bank and the recipient.
  • Promote the Auswide Bank brand in a positive way.
  • Help us achieve our strategic customer and growth goals.
  • Provide opportunities that provide meaningful exposure to Auswide Bank's target audience.
  • Initiatives that offer opportunities for engagement and interaction with the community.

We will only approve major sponsorships where Auswide Bank is assured it is the only financial services sponsor of the event or organisation.

How it Works

Sponsorships

  • Financial support through sponsorship of community activities, organisations, and events - covering a wide range of sporting, cultural and community interests and endeavours.

Donations

  • Provision of promotional items and vouchers (where possible) to a range of organisations to assist with their own fundraising efforts e.g., school fetes, cent sales, trivia nights, raffles etc.
  • Donations of cash or to various charitable organisations.

In-kind support

  • Staff acting as volunteers or office bearers in various community organisations.
  • Use of our marquees and event equipment.
  • Allowing availability of branches as collection points for community fundraising efforts or appeals.
  • Supporting fundraising and assisting staff to donate to any Australian charity via morning teas etc.

What Auswide Bank doesn't support

We will not provide Sponsorship for the following purposes:

  • Events where another financial institution, bank or competitor are a sponsor.
  • Political parties or politically driven initiatives.
  • Promotion of a particular religious or spiritual philosophy.
    Our support to faith-based groups focuses on welfare, community service or community activities that are not of a religious nature.
  • Activities that compete directly with our existing sponsorships.


The following are regarded as inappropriate and will not be supported.

  • Any project, event or activity that does not align with Auswide Bank’s values.
  • Programs that could be detrimental to public health or safety, discriminatory, or offensive to the community.
  • Sponsorships involving the cruelty or mistreatment of humans or animals.
  • Organisations driven by particularly divisive social issues.
  • Events that encourage smoking, substance abuse, irresponsible alcohol consumption or are related to gambling.

Submit your sponsorship opportunity

Auswide Bank will consider your sponsorship opportunity based upon the information you provide us in our Community Support and Sponsorship Consideration form.

Any decision to provide sponsorship will be at our absolute discretion and no further correspondence will be entered into once we have made our decision.
