Financial Advice

Start building the future you want with help of a qualified financial adviser.

Why seek Financial Advice?

As a smaller bank that values each and every customer, we understand that everyone is different.

That's why we place great importance on you and meeting your needs.  We want you to achieve your personal hopes and dreams and help you start building the future you want - whatever that may be.

Making the right financial decisions for you can have a huge impact on your future.

So while we can assist with general advice on finance and banking services, financial planning advice is specialised and involves an understanding of your individual circumstances and needs and making recommendations that will result in an individual plan that helps you achieve your needs.

To ensure our customers have access to appropriate financial advice we have formed a relationship with Alliance Wealth Pty Ltd (Alliance Wealth) for Alliance Wealth and its affiliated financial advisers to provide financial advisory services or products not covered by our Australian financial services licence (AFSL). As a result we can only give factual information about those services.

Life Stages

It’s never too early or too late to seek financial advice.

No matter your stage of life, there are ways a Financial Adviser can help you to achieve your goals.

Your Financial Advice Journey

Take the first step to engaging with a Financial Adviser by contacting us to arrange an introduction.
You work with your Financial Adviser to identify your short, medium and long term financial goals – this stage serves as a foundation for developing your plan.
Your Financial Adviser will take a good look at your position – your assets, liabilities, insurance coverage and investment and tax strategies.
Your Financial Adviser recommends suitable strategies, products and services, and answers any questions you have.
Once you're ready to go ahead, your financial plan will be put into action. Where appropriate, your Financial Adviser may work with Auswide Bank or specialist professionals, such as an  accountant or solicitor.
Your circumstances, lifestyle and financial goals are likely to change over time, so it's important that your financial plan is regularly reviewed, to make sure you keep on track.

How much will Financial Advice cost?

Your first discussion with an Alliance Wealth authorised Financial Adviser is obligation free!

They will present you with a copy of a Financial Services Guide which outlines a fee range that may be charged.

Once your Financial Adviser has a greater understanding of your personal situation, they will prepare a more detailed costing for your consideration.  The cost will depend on the complexity of your situation and the scope of advice you agree on.

Your Financial Adviser will explain all costs clearly to you as well as provide you with options to either pay the fee upfront, or the cost may come out of your underlying products.

If you do proceed with advice, you will receive a personalised plan, known as a Statement of Advice. This documents the strategies and financial product recommendations from your Financial Adviser.

Your Financial Adviser may also present you with a service arrangement which is designed to review your financial plan on an ongoing basis and make any adjustments, if necessary, to ensure it remains on track towards achieving your goals!
